YOU ARE AMONG THE MORE THAN 80% IF YOU:
  • Go to a job you hate.
  • Dread Monday mornings.
  • Cannot wait for Friday evenings.
  • Feel like you are wasting your time at work.
  • Feel like there has to be more than “this”–“this” being what you are currently doing.

George Gallup did a longitudinal survey and found that only 13% of people are fully satisfied with the work they do. Imagine only 13%–less that 2 out of 10 people.

LOVE YOUR WORK

These people cannot wait for Monday mornings. They love their work. They know what they’re doing is what they should be doing.

This means that a little more than 1 out of 10 people are fully alive. Wow! Unbelievable.

To me this is crazy. At least I can say that now. I honestly could not say that before with full authenticity about a decade ago.

I had similar feelings. I loved what I did. But there were times when I dreaded Monday mornings. At times the weekends weren’t long enough.

Like me, you might not feel this way all the time. That’s normal. But if you find yourself feeling this way more and more, it’s time to make a change.

Change to what you say? You don’t know what to do or what else to do.

This is why most people stay where they are and continue to be miserable.

Imagine, spending most of your life doing something that makes you miserable?

It doesn’t make sense when you stop and think about it. Does it? But we do it anyway.

Why?

MASLOW’S HIERARCHY OF NEEDS

According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, he states that majority of people are okay with so-called job security and good working conditions. That is towards the bottom of the hierarchy.

Very few he states breaks free and pursues the top of the pyramid, which he identifies as self-actualization.

Self-actualization, according to Maslow, is the need to be good, to be fully alive and to find meaning in life.

When you are not aspiring for more, then you have settled and are living your life different from who you truly are inside and out. This is why you will be less happy than those who are aspiring for greatness or to be fully alive.

GOOD NEWS

The good news is it doesn’t have to be this way.

In working with so many people I realize that if they could:
  1. Script a different Story for their lives
  2. Map out a Mission for themselves
  3. Overcome their Objections
  4. Open new Options
  5. Trim their Time
  6. Hit a Hole in One

…they would be well on their way to the top of the pyramid and thereby join the ranks of the 13%.

You might be wondering how this is done. I’m glad you are having those thoughts.

I have developed the above framework to help people like you to do just that. It’s called the Rapid Change S.M.O.O.T.H Framework.
